You should be cultured about all the variations that the game has to offer so that you can win in opposition to all odds.

Aggressive play does not mean you should play maximum number of hands which would increase your chances of winning the pot. In fact aggressive poker players should not play all the hands as it would taint their reputation and they would end up betting a lot of money unnecessarily. Aggressive players resort to raising the bet rather than calling. They believe in betting rather than checking.
